Do you find that your team performs badly when you load your savegame and resume from there? I noticed this trend in earlier version of FM but never as explicit as today.

I started an AV game yesterday and built an impressive run which put me 2 points from the top with a game in hand. When I resumed my game this morning, I had West Ham next. They're in the relegation zone. My assistance says they struggle against 4-4-2 (the formation I use), the starting players are all on superb morale and in superb condition, etc.. Everything seemed perfect for a rout.

Well, West Ham won the game 5-1. It seems that saving game and reloading them later kills the form somehow. What do you think?

This happened to me before and I just did a couple of tests with this fixture and WH almost always defeat me - and defeat is an understatement. They BATTER the **** out of me.

I have been thinking something similar on a lot of FM games, I think it probably is coincidence but still it happens so often. Trick is not to ever sleep.

I'm sure it's insanity, but I've long wondered whether something doesn't get reset that impacts "streaks" on reloads.

I find it cuts both ways. Runs of great form come to a full halt sometimes (like you described) and other times I come back in when my team is struggling and suddenly they're good again.

Why do people think that when they lose the game is bugged or something. You lots just take it. It wasn't that the game was bugged or something.

Why do you assume the game cannot be bugged?

This is not a one-off occurrence in my case and it seems there are some people that share the same experience.

Maybe it isn't a bug, maybe they did it purposely to stop people reloading for results? Far fetched but possible...

To be fair in reality it isn't bugged, it has to be coincidence. Its very strange and my mind does wonder when it happens.

Maybe its down to the flow of your thinking when you on a streak (losing or winning) and the break affects you subliminally?!
