Seriously, It's damaging my ego when I see my young Arsenal CBs Kjaer and Hummels who've played over 100 games together getting skinned by poor league 1 strikers and and my fullbacks Sagna and Clichy consistently letting in crosses for the likes of Drogba to tap in. It's also annoying that whenever I score first against a top 3 team they instantly hit back with 2 goals in the space of ten minutes. It's frusterating and makes me wanna pull my hair out.

So does anyone know of a tactic that can massage my sore ego and ensure that my Arsenal team remains air tight, water tight etc? Is there a tactic out there which is rock solid defensively and very effiecient in attack? A tactic that willl only concede less than 10 goals a season?

Less than 10 goals a season is hardly a realistic expectation! How many you conceding currently?
 
Goals went out of fashion years ago mate, now it's all about diving.
 
Faster full-backs, full-backs with better defensive attributes or changing full-backs to "defend" might help for the crosses. Faster CB's would stop them getting skinned as much or getting a good defensive midfielder to give you an extra man might too. :)

so you are looking to reduce it from 100 odd to 10?
if you need help you need to be realistic - post your current tactic and you will get some advice
 
A tactic which is rock solid defensively and very efficient in attack is more or less the holy grail of all tactics, good luck doing that.

What formation and player roles are you currently playing?

check out my story and download a link on page 2. Bozzini I think it was.
Then tweak to your players like I did.
Without any screenshots or knowing your players it is impossible to advise
 
I can't provide a screenshot but here are my players and formation..I play a 4-2-3-1

Akinfeev
Sagna Hummels Kjaer Clichy
Fellaini Song
Balotelli Fabregas Hazard
Robin Van Persie

That's my lineup

In defence my fullbacks have normal mentality and low creativity they are
They are set to Fullback-defend. Tight marking is also on.

My centrebacks are set on Central defender - defend and their mentality and creativity set to 0..the lowest you can go. Tight marking is off.

Fellaini is my anchor man with his creativity and mentality really low and song as a defensive mid.

Also my width is set to narrow just below normal. I play a rigid control game with passes set to short and low tempo. I aslo play a relatively deep line a few notches below normal.

Are their any tactics in the download sections which ensure you get an air tight defence?
 
Make Song your anchor man and Wilshere alongside him - I have him as deep lying playmaker.
Put full backs to automatic.
Maybe increase width with Balotelli Inside Forward Attack Hazard Attacking Winger Attack
RVP Poacher
Hummels - Stopper Kjaer - Defend/Cover

I dont think Arsenal should play rigid
What do the bars in match preperation show?
 
Can anyone recommend me a tried and tested tactic which exists with the 11.3 patch and allows you to have a solid defense anc countless cleansheets..

I've done less than 10 goals in the Portuguese league, but it's only 30 games, and less than 10 goals in all competitions is well.. **** near impossible! So you'll have to aim to.. 20 I guess.
