Let's get started with the playing staff.

Goalkeepers (2.5/5)

Andriy Dykan- Experienced goalkeeper- with 17 reflexes and 15 handling, as well as strong balanced mental attributes. Should be your 1st choice.

Alexandr Belenov- Standing at 197cm tall with high jumping but 10 aerial ability (a pity), but has 15 reflexes but quite weak mental attributes. Only 23 years of age (2010 start). Backup to Dykan

Nikolay Zabolotny- At 20 years old, he's got plenty of double digit figures in his goalkeeping attributes, mostly 11s, and 12s. A hot prospect.

Full Backs (5/5)

Sergey Parshivlyuk- Great offensive/defensive WB/FB, at only 22 years of age with full caps for Russia. Has potential. Starts on RB.

Evgeny Makeev- Nearly similar to Parshivlyuk, except able to play on left side as well. Make him sub if you play Dmitri Kombarov in this position. If not start him at LB.

Kirill Kombarov- Very similar to Parshivlyuk, except better at attacking but poorer defensively, if only slight. Swap between him and Parshivlyuk.

Fedor Kudryashov- Useless backup player. Would sell him.

Anton Khodyrev- A youth prospect. Not much to look out for.

Centre Backs (2/5)

Marek Suchy- The best defender in the side. Great mental and physical attributes, tall with a good head and tackle. Juventus came sniffing. I gave them the middle finger. Start him at CB.

Marcos Rojo- Fairly tall, good heading, suited to be a ball-playing defender.

Nicolas Pareja- Don't even know why he's here. Sell him at the 1st opportunity.

Ryhor Filipenko- A Belarussian/Russian. Tall at 190 cm, and very strong physically, but decent mentally and technically. Start him at CB as you'll need to reserve the foreign player on first XI quota.

Alexandr Sheshukov- Can also play DM. Pretty good mental and physical attributes, and the benefit of being Russian.

Midfielders (4/5)

Alex- The captain of the side and technically blessed. Has 4 caps for Brazil so you know he's good. Start him at MC.

Ibson- Pretty all-round player, with strong physique and high work rate. Start him at DM.

Rafael Carioca- 14 marking and 15 tackling at 20 years of age, mediocre physique and mental attributes. Need to be nurtured.

Jano- Can also play AML. Very, very good at 17 years of age with 14 dribbling, 15 passing, 15 first touch as well as high mental attributes but 4 strength. Have him tutored by Alex. Use him as a sub.

Filip Ozobic- A good prospect, but a bit of puzzle to work out. Has very good mental attributes at the age of 18.

Nikola Drincic- Good passer but starts out injured. Unfortunate. Sell if you can.

Wingers (3.5/5)

Aidan McGeady- Can play on right or left side. Very fast and excellent dribbler, makes for a great inside forward. Start him on the right.

Pavel Yakovlev- Only 19, and plenty of figures in double digits- has potential to be a servicable inside forward. Can play upfront as well.

Dmitry Kombarov- a DL, WBL and AML. High crossing and dribbling attributes (15 and 16 respectively). Only 23 with full caps for Russia. Man Utd came sniffing but i said no. Start him on the left.

Strikers (4/5)

Welliton- Goal machine poacher. Very pacy, with high composure and off the ball coupled with 17 finishing at 23 years of age. Hold on to him for 3-4 years as he can then naturalize (he's been there since 2007, and its 6 years). A starter.

Ari- Decent striker but nowhere as good as Welliton. Personally I'd sell him as i use a small man big man combo.

Artem Dzyuba- Very tall player at 194 cm with 16 heading, 17 jumping and 16 strength all at just 21 years of age. He is not entirely slow too and have good mental attributes. Perfect target man in the making. A starter.

Alexandr Kozlov- A hot prospect with 12 finishing and 12 dribbling, but he's only 18 years of age, but has **** hot mental attributes (all double digits except influence and concentration) and 13 acc and 13 pace, but low strength. Performs well above his age and stat line. Nurture him.

Team management tips.

1) Foreigners- In the Russian league, you are only allowed to field 6 foreigners on the pitch at one time. To get around this, determine which parts of your team don't require foreigners. In this case Full backs and goalkeepers. Do not sign any foreigners for that position- you may have to rely on youth graduates or tight defence as you'll want to save the foreigner spots for other parts of the pitch. On the pitch itself, use a little trick i call "knowing which foreign players will get tired" and tailor your bench to suit this purpose (for example i know Alex will get tired, so i put Jano in subs). Effectively this maximises the usage of foreigners you can have, as well as keeping them happy and developed. Keep to about 11 to 13 foreigners- as you can take advantage of playing as many foreigners in friendly games and European competition- and even better, they should be able to play multiple positions, though this is a bonus and not a requirement.

2) Positions to be improved- Look at building up your CB, and DM (if you use) as well looking up for another winger, and perhaps a backup big man (incase Dzuyba is suspended or inj.). I signed Kara, Sven Bender and Willian along with Bressan during mid-season (July). Alexandr Yerokhin can fill that backup big man role.

3) Players on loan to other clubs- You will have to sort it out post season one- Malik Fathi, Soslan Djanaev, Sergey Pesjakov amongst others return on loan. Out of these three, i would keep Djanaev, as he makes a pretty decent backup. Fathi should be sold as he is foreign. The rest should be disposed of.

4) You get lots of money- Money comes easily to you. Your sponsorship deal is worth 12M. Add on top of that European competition- which nets you lots and lots of money- even more if you win matches. Use this money to build your facilities. And spend wisely but you can afford to be extravagant.
