Just a thought... one of my players (Cisse) has a "match highest earner clause", he is currently on loan and the other team is paying 40% of his wages or something.

I can't remember what his previous wages were but I just bought Kjaer and he is on £91,000 a year, so my bloke on loan has had his wages increased. When you click on Cisse's contract status it says that I'm now paying £49,000 a week and Monaco are paying £42,500 a week.

Now because they payed a fee it can not be cancelled and I can not recall him, but I've noticed you can offer contracts while players are out on loan so does anyone think that if this was done with a reserve player who say went on loan and then you offered them a new contract to match the highest earner or offer him stupidly high wages, could you bankrupt a League 1 side or something like that over the course of the season?

edit---->

I just offered him a new contract but their amount they pay didn't change. Strange how it did when it matched highest earner.
