Hey guys.

I've been playing a West Ham United save, into my second season and have bolstered the squad quite well i feel but admittedly my strikers are not the greatest (the best being Carlton Cole ofc)

I am managing to get plenty of 1 on 1 chances vs the opposing keeper, there wont even be a defender in sight most of the time. yet when it comes to actually burying that ball and getting the goal they are making a shot that I cannot physically sum up the words to describe!

is anyone else suffering problems like this? or have any ideas on what sort of stats to aim for on a striker who wont scuff a chance like this 99% of the time. - when your getting 6-7 one on ones with the opposing keeper and only scoring 1 goal a game its pretty disappointing!

My latest streak of games has gotton to the stage where my Center Backs are scoring almost as many goals as my strikers, and thats WITHOUT the corner bug!

Maybe your strikers are not up to your tactic or is just poor. Get some new strikers if that is the problem! You don't want strikers that can't score goals. It must be their finishing stat that is poor. Get some loans for young strikers that have good finishing if not buy some new ones..there are many great strikers out there so go to player search and search the best one!

at the minute I am trying to sign a new striker, but my game seems to have bugged. it just says "transfer date - next available Jan 12th" (its Jan 11th) but every time i click continue and it becomes Jan 12th, the transfer says "next available jan 13th" and this continues. its now the 17th! it started on the 9th....

tactics are fluid on everything, and its Mr Hough 4-1-2-3 11.2 =|

my worst strikers finishing is around 13. and my best is about 16.

its just a shame to be missing open goals but yet conceeding 30+ yard blasters.

For me composure, finishing, concentration, technique and decisions are the key to burying they one on ones!!

I have the same problem, I solved it by either developing or buying world-class wingers. Get Ben Arfa from Newcastle.
