This is a thread about advantages/disadvantages of top reputation/low reputation leagues.

So everyone knows the advantages of playing in top rep leagues(even if they're lower divisions):
bigger reputation, more money available, more sponsorship contracts, more places for europe...
There is although one BIG BIG disadvantage: You can't play with youngsters which have CA 80-100 and PA 170+ in the league. You need at least that they have 130 CA at the start, and that's not good. Why? Because in the reserves they play at a much lower stage and it's not very competetive.

The advantages of playing in a team from a low rep league:
easier teams to play against, more enjoyable managing of teams AND you can play youngsters in the first team if you already have much better players for europe. For example, I have played my Hajduk save for 5-6 seasons, and I have the first team which is as good as Arsenals, so I can play with youngsters with much potential in the league and in europe against lesser teams. I found that when I'm playing in the top league and I play them in the reserves, they don't develop very good, and I can't put them in the first team because they'll easily be the weakest links in the team and the AI can easily take advantage of it. I have an example... I had a player called Richard Langa which I snapped up on free and he was full of potential. In three years. In the second and third year he became thrice as good just by playing him in the first team in the league and I sold him for 4 mil. euros to Anderlecht. He actually didn't have that good stats(lower Champ.), but when I had first put him in the reserves for the first year his stats haven't improved(although I had top facilities and best youth facilities).

Disadvantages:
lower reputation, lower income, lesser budget

Do you agree with what I wrote and what would you add?

Currently managing in Belarus, £35m on the bank account and a £15m transfer budget. I don't need it though, as I already have the limited number of foreigners and not one good Belarusian wants to come to my club. Friendlies in New Zealand and getting to the CL group stage ftw.

What team are you managing mate?

RGUOR Minsk, they're actually a youth academy side but I changed them to a normal team and activated the third division in Belarus and put them there.

First season or like 5th?

Well obviously I didn't have lots of money in the first few seasons, played friendlies in NZ and worked my way up to the top league, but after winning it and getting through to the CL group stages for the first time (4th season) I was given a £10m transfer budget and had them ever since.

I find that managing lower rep teams and making them world class is so amazing! Cause from when you started to now your team has grown massively and is now taking on these big teams like Man utd, chelsea etc and matching them. Which makes you proud tbh, if not makes me proud at least.
