What should i do? I fined Van Der Wiel 2 weeks wages in my first season with City for taking a red...he was unhappy about it and the conversation didin't go well.

I said: "i feel you deserved it and i stand by my decision"..well our relationship ended.

Later i saw the incident and saw that the incident was controversial..and he probly didn't deserve it...so i understand why he got unhappy.

Thank god i have him on a long-term deal. But now he has 3 years left of the contract and it's already 2 years since he got unhappy and he is still unhappy!

I have praised him in almoste every game and his morale is superb. But he will still not talk to me after 2 years! He even rejects my huge contract offers.

What should i do? He is one of the best right-backs in the game and i dont want to sell him.

What can i do to sovle this? I try to praise him but no...he is still unhappy after 2 years!!!

If he's not going to speak to you, you may as well sell him rather than have him upset the harmony of your squad. Also, you should've gave him a warning first, rather than fine him instantly.

Besides, if you sell him, you can get Sime Vrsaljko who will turn into a better player than van der Wiel.

is it his first red in man city. u should have given a warning , instead of fining him

Yeah..got carried away because many other players got reds and i always fined them. Some were unhappy but i said that i stand by my decision so they accepted it in the end.

Not in this case and probly hav to pay for it :( Can you name some better pacy attacking rb :s?

At least players in game is easy to control. Just say them what you think they would like to hear and they are in dreamland.

Praise them after good game or good run of games and repeat it everytime when they deserve it and your team will be inlove with you.
Seriously.

Loan him to another club for a season. I did the same thing with Christian Eriksen, and he at least talked to me again.

Loaning him out is a great idea Btw as said above. Gets rid of it and erm if not keep praising him. If by then it does not work, defo sell him as it will cause your harmony.

I had the same problem. I fixed by saying in a press conference, when asked who I consider my key player in midfield i said "Gaston Ramirez" (the player i fined and who i has an argument with) and it worked, his morale went from 'poor' to 'very good'. Before this he wouldn't even talk to me but he was fine after.
