I am twelve seasons in on FM 2011, and for the whole 12 seasons I have been manager of West Ham United.

I have no links with West Ham in real life, I don't support them I just randomly started a game with them.

I started off with a few seasons of mid table, then a few seasons challenging for UEFA Cup place. I am now a regular Top 4 side but I have hit a brick wall.

I have never got past the FA Cup Semi Final. I have lost in 3 League Cup Final's & been a runner up in 2 Community Shield's. I have never got past the Last 16 of the UEFA Cup or Champions League.

I have finished 5th in the league twice, 3rd in the league twice and now two consecutive 2nd place finishes (the last of which I lost out to Chelsea on goal difference, needed to beat them by 3 goals on the last day to pinch the title and I beat them 3-1).

In summary, I have been successful every season but I have not won ANYTHING yet. Board & Fans are still behind me and I am currently 2nd in the league in December and still in the FA Cup & Champions League for this season. However, I can feel psychologically that we are going to bottle it again like I have done every season!

My question is...should I give up? Or should I keep going?

Keep going until you hve won everything mate, your so far in why give up now? and what is your current line up? :p

Yeah man keep going. You've built your own little football dynasty there. Wish i had the staying power to do that.

Suicide yourself.Seriously, 12 seasons in Premier and you havent won anything.I know its West Ham but,you should definitly be doing better.

Keep goin, can you post a screenshot oft he team? :)

Personal preference really, but I'd say start over, 12 seasons should be enough for you to become the dominant team in the premiership by now, possibly even europe. From a real life point of view, you've done a fantastic job, from an FM11 point of view, you're underachieving.

Keep going i am doing the same as Sheffield Wednesday slowly building up the league.

Also his team will be full of regens.

I know I am underachieving but we have been so unlucky in cup finals and finishing 2nd.

I will get a screenshot of my team now but they are mostly regens except for Phil Jones, Jack Wilshere, Tom Cairney, Nathan Delfouneso and maybe a couple of others. Even that lot are getting into their 30's now though.

Think I am going to give it another few seasons.

I just finished 2nd again on goal difference, no cup win either. Another trophyless season!

Screenshot coming soon!

Just give it another couple of seasons, you've done so well so far. If things don't improve, see what other club you can get
