Hi, I am managing Barnet at the moment, has anyone got any tips on anything to do with them?

As they are on of the favourites to go down.

Thanks.

I don't really know them quite well but the best thing to do is maybe get new staff to get the best possible training you can do. If the assistant manager isn't up to the standard then sack him and get a new one that is much better. After that look at your team report once you have your new assistant manager or kept the original one. The team report will tell you what your team's weaknesses are. If you are weak at defence..then it is best to get some defenders. Also look at the depth of your squad. If your squad does not have enough backup players for certain positions then you need to either get some youngsters from your u18s squad or reserves as backup or buy/loan new players.

Loaning players is a great idea for lower league clubs. Search for them on player search. Parent clubs are excellent, especially when they loan players to your club without any fees or wages and on top of all they pay you monthly fees for having them has parent clubs. Ask your board for one by going into "Board Room". Another good idea is free transfers, search for them and some can be very good. One important thing is check if your first choice keeper is good enough for your standard. In my team, my keeper is the key player in the squad, as he saves a lot of goals/shots and has a rating of 7.30 and many clean sheets over 20+.

Good luck, if you need anything else, just ask :)

I have been trying to get free transfers, but I can only offer them a maximum of 1,500 wages, so they always decline.

I have also been trying to get players on loan from Chelsea etc, but they decline it too.

Have you got any idea of what I can do with free transfers (clauses etc.) to make them accept the offer?

Thanks.

If they don't want to come there is nothing you can do, there is no point going over your wage budget if you can't afford the wages the players are asking.

Some players to look at: Wesley Ngo Baheng (not on patch 11.3 he is at Hereford), Izzy Iriekpen, Ismael Fofana, Ebou Sillah, Dominic Shimmin (not on patch 11.3 at Dover), Matt Garner (contract expires in December), Andras Simon, Gareth Williams, Jervis Drummond, Stephen Hughes.

For loans, ask the board for a parent club to loan players from. For my Stevenage team I managed to Oliver Norwood from Man United so he is worth a look. Also look at Antonio German from QPR.

Get rid of all the dead wood in the squad. Release players who aren't good enough to free up more wages. Always look at the transfer list for cheap players. Bring in good coaches and scouts by using the staff search and have the contracts of staff who are uselss mutually terminated.

Hope this helps :)

Try and sign Domenico Morfeo as a deep lying playmaker
