I applied for the vacant spot as Argentina manager and they offered me the job. But it is now 2014 in game and the World Cup is only over a few months. If I take this job, does that mean the team will have no [competitive] fixtures until the World Cup Qualifiers which are probably just under 3 years away? Am I better off sticking with my Ireland team to compete in the Euro Qualifiers? - Considering I won't be playing any fixtures anyway?

Thanks :D

Yeah they will, They have the Copa America every couple of years aswell and the World cup campaign lasts 2 years aswell. You wont go more than a year without a Compeditive game. I reckon go for it as youll have a good chance of winning a World Cup. :)

That's the reason I want to take over them...sick of just qualifing with Ireland ha

Thanks Steve :D Didn't know about the Copa America
