I have just finished my 3rd season as liverpool manager and the board have now told me I have an established youth recruitment system. Does this mean i will have an influx of better players in my academy every year. If not what does it mean lol?

yh you are more likely to get better regens arrive in your u18s

yeah you should have more and better regens every year

if you have foreign staff and/or feeder clubs you might start getting a couple of youngsters from those countries too

Network does not effect quality of regens.

It merely effects where you get your regens from.

The larger the network, the larger the area you sign players from. A small network means you sign players from your city. Slightly larger means you sign players from the region. Larger still from nation, and so forth until you get continent and eventually world.

If you look at top clubs and their networks, you'll notice those with the largest networks have more regens from different nations than top clubs with medium recruiting networks.

What are the requirements to expand your network? I really never got into this system...

reputation I believe

You can't very well go into china to sign teenagers into your youth system when you are playing in 3rd division Holland!

Cheers I understand now, this has been backed up by the new players i have just gotten, one of which is a 4* potential :D
