Can't register players!

Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I'm just about to play my first game of the season with Ayr United in the Scottish Third Division and 3 players I signed about a month ago aren't registered to play and I can't find the registration screen.

When I intially signed them it said they needed to be registered to be eligible to play but when I clicked on squad registration it just took me to my team screen like when you press F3.

If anyone knows how to fix this I'd really appreciate it because if I can't play my players it going to ruin the whole game!

3 unregistered players and no squad registration option at the top where the menu's are. If anyone can help me out I'd really appreciate it!
 
Usually in the message when you bought a new player, there is a button attached to the message which says "squad registration". Clicking that will bring you to the registration page.

Manually you can get there by clicking at your team and then selecting squad registration from the top menu.
 
When I signed the players the button just took me to the team screen and there is no button to get to it from my team screen.

I think it's a bug cause the fix details for patch 11.1.1 said "fixed squad registration problems with newly promoted/relegated teams"
 
No just on the standard game with no patches but after searching for what the problem might be I came across a list of the problems that were fixed in patch 11.1. One of these fixes said something like "fixed squad registration problems with newly promoted/relegated teams" so i assume if i get the patch this problem won't happen again.

However, I'm really enjoying my game and don't want to have to start again so I was hoping it might be something else that I could fix and carry on with my current save.
 
I'm using 11.3. - the bug is not in there. But I don't think you have to start a new game after installing a patch. Not 100% sure anymore but I believe I was able to continue my save when I upgraded from 11.2 to 11.3
