I use the disc, so naturally I downloaded the patches. They all installed fine, but when I open up FM the screen goes dark and glitches saying 'Processing... Processing... Please Wait.' I waited an hour and nothing happened. I've had to uninstall FM so many times to get it back to version 1 its a bit ridiculous. Please help!

try the solutions in my help thread, sticked in this section

I tried the solutions, download of the Direct-X bar and deletion of 'Football Manager 2011' files in 'Sports Interactive', and drivers for the computer. To no avail. The laptop is up to date with drivers, and the Direct-x download from the website posted posted in your help thread failed as it didn't contain any files or formats. I was asked to build it with a 'PACKER' tool. I attempted to install a patch again, it unzipped and updated, but once again soon after the opening credits it got stuck with the 'Processing' screen. Is there anything I'm missing, or am I destined to not be able to play my friends online who already have the patches?
