ive played 4 seasons with arsenal with the formation of 4-3-2(out wide)-1.
ive had minimal success, just wondered if it is worth changing back to 4-4-2? anyone done this?
my team is-(442)

de gea

ramos jones sakho clichy

pastore vidal

hazard di maria

neymar hernandez

i prefer my old formation, as i like the idea of 3 in midfield. but just fancied a change! any ideas, suggestions?

I found most success with 4-2-3-1 and 4-4-2 (Normal).

-------------Areola
Sagna - Galeano - Vermaelen - Clichy
-----------Ramsey - Song
------Walcott - Pastore - Nasri
-----------Sanago

OR

---------------Areola
Sagna - Galeano - Vermaelen - Clichy
Wilshere - Ramsey - Khedira - Nasri
----------Sanago - Chamakh

And I'm in 2015 and won all Premier League titles except for 2 years where I came 2nd.
Keeping it simple works well with Arsenal.

The 4-5-1, 4-2-3-1 and 4-4-2 formations best suit Arsenal, with fluid, attacking and direct play. Simplicity can be your best friend as KeshS001 pointed out.

thanks! il prob stick with 3 midfielders( pastore, vidal, poli) 2 out wide(hazard,di maria) and 1 up top( hernandez). doesnt matter though, man city are unbeatable in my save, they have all the best squad and hernandez for man u gets bout 39 goals a season, while my hernandez gets 20ish. cant beat them! should do with my players though?
