Chairman Huw Jenkins says Swansea should not be underestimated prior to their debut season in the Premier League.

Focus on avoiding relegation, Mr. Jenkins. We hear the same noise from plenty of clubs coming up.

He clearly has no idea about the gulf in quality between the Premier League and the Championship.

swansea will be relegated, no doubt about it.

Blackpool competed aswell... And ended up in the championship.

So far their transfer targets are hardly prem worthy

Danny Graham - good at championship, can he make the step up, big risk

And then Maros Senna and some guy from France who are past it and their legs are gone

I think theyll go down

Anyone thinking im Cardiff and bitter, im past bitter, i wish Swansea luck but think theyll be back down to Earth next season

Start well, like Hull, Blackpool, Burnley before getting relegated. Heard it here first folks.

Think they'll do a Derby. Not as bad, but they'll struggle imo.

LOL: Marcos Senna - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Senna is a Spanish international who played more than 20 times last season. Experienced doesn't always = past it.

Past it may have been a bad choice of words, but i think there are other people who they can target

I'd say that Senna is a coup if Swansea do get him and fits the system/style nicely. His injury record is worrying though.

Just a matter of personal opinion really, i could be proved wrong and id admit it :)

Difference between Blackpool and Swansea is that Swansea had a much better defensive record compared to Blackpool when they were in the championship. They play some decent stuff as well so it will be interesting to see how they progress, personally think they will stay up.
