Hi,

I dont know if anyone has had a similar experience but I am unable to sync my saved games through Steam. Ive been scouring forums to find out if anyone else has had trouble with FM12 but can't find anything.

I really want to play my saved game on 2 different laptops but when I log into steam on laptop #2 it does not recognise the saved game I started on laptop #1. I though that games were automatically saved on the Steam Cloud? I can't find mention of this anywhere on steam and their help appears useless. Is there a special place I should be saving the games too?

On the Steam settings the box is ticket to allow for syncronisation on the Cloud.

Can anyone offer any advice?

Thanks,

Barkerwoof

FM save games are > 100mb. They aren't stored on the cloud.

You should just do my old fashioned way, and use your USB instead of saving the game on your computer ;)

Thanks for your help guys. Bit of a shame as I thought that was the best thing about steam but oh well. Will get myself a USB stick instead...good tip!

Thanks again!

I've backed up all of my files from FM07 onwards on to my External HD, so that if I play on my laptop then I can transfer over on to my PC (and vice-versa). All files are hosted locally, but if you really wanted then I guess what you could attempt is to have your game saved to a Dropbox folder and see if you can have it automatically transfer when the file is saved.
