Tactics for my St. Pauli

Hey all, i'm new of the forum but not to the game. I just started my first official season with St.Pauli in 2 Bundesliga. I have no budget buying new player so i had to be crative.

Now i have a good goalkeeper, CB with good defensive stats but low pace, 1 good DM and 2 nice wings. I miss a decent forward at the moment. Now i'm play wit a 4-1-2-2-1 that allows me to score a decent amount of goals but is fragile and i take loeads of goals. any suggestion on what tactic i should use?

If you miss a really good FC, its in my opinion better to use a 2 FC formation. I have never played with St P before so I cant give any advice at all to your pecific situation but it does sound like you need to face the fact that in the coming months, you might struggle ( i.e not win every game ) as the squad is a bit unbalanced. I would probably just use a simple 442, playing balanced and use the stratgey you see fit for the coming game, using the flanks but perthaps keep a narrow approach ( manually tweak the focus play)
