My strikers always ruin chances with terrible long-shots, when they could simply run at defence and have 50% more chance of scoring. It frustrates me because when you beat teams like stoke 1-0 due to messing up 500 chances it's just embarrassing.

Is there anything I can do to discourage my striker(s) from constantly taking long-shots, and make more out of chances? I'm currently using Agüero, with Neymar and Cavani on bench. Would appreciate some help!

I love Agüero, he's one of my favourite strikers but to be honest he seems to be under-performing this season. I put cavani on quite a lot too.

Just need some tips on how to discourage strikers taking long shots constantly, don't need any player advice lol.

captain obvious here : lower Long Shots on player instruction.
then use the shout work ball on box and it might help to use the "run through defence" or something like that

check players for PPM like shoot from range and stuff like that and fix it through training.

try to change creativity up and down; as much creativity or flair as a player like aguero has, sometimes you him to keep it simple OR because of a limited creativity allowed, he simply shoots as soon as he can.

dont be a glory hunter be a team without all the big names ,i must say the way you are playing the game it mise well be @ the easy level by having such players, why not bulid a team from top to bottom the way the game should b played

Thanks, I didn't even realise there was more options for player instruction, DERP!

That explains a lottttt.

There isn't a way to play the game, it's personal preference. I enjoy creating strong teams and then resigning to create more with a different squad. I look at underrated players just as much also, I concentrate on youth and having big names tutor them.

Don't particularly understand your claim on how the game is suppose to be played. I get equal enjoyment from creating dream teams just as much as you enjoy building teams up with underrated talent. Stick to your own game and don't worry about others.
