I'm sorry if this is a common question so please direct me to the right thread because I'm FREAKING OUT right now!!!! As the title said, I cannot load my save game!!! Please, someone please tell me there's a way to fix this because I have been googling and cannot find the answer at all. I'm Liverpool in first season and after 14 games I'm currently NUMBER 1 on EPL and Suarez has been getting me goals average 1 goal per game so if I cannot load this save game, I think I will completely give up playing FM12. You have no idea how rare it is for me to get this good start to the season.

Well in the error message you receive does it say anything about being corrupted? Because if so then there's no way to get it back, hence why you should always consider letting the game use a 3-file rolling save.
No, it just says, the save game cannot loaded. I have the 3-file rolling save check though, how do I access it?In my save game folder, there are only the files that I save manually..
Restore previous version?How can I do that?
If your on Win 7 go onto the same game file and click restore to previous version. You will find it in documents - sports interactive - football manager 2012 - games - and then your selected file. Right click it and go to restore prevous version and it will restore your game. I've only ever used Windows 7 so unfortunately that's as far as my knowledge of OS goes

Hmmm usually when you save the game it will create a copies of the game as backup in case anything goes wrong with that save file.

As you can see on mine I have 5 versions of my Leeds Vacation save. If they are not there then I don't know what to suggest :/

I don't get it, I have to right click the saved game file right?There's no "restore to previous version" option there.
I don't have that :'( The v0 thingy only appear in my FM11 game after the game crash many times, in FM12, it did crash twice but there's no save game other than the one I save manually..

Ahhh I don't know what to suggest then :/
About the restore to previous version method, you have to right click the file and click properties, then click the previous versions tab. You more than likely won't be able to restore the file unless you made a full system back-up which is highly unlikely. I really don't know what to suggest, just don't quit playing, just start again, do everything the same and hope the results come your way again. Who knows you might thrash everyone and Suarez could be averaging 2-3 goals a game next time round
