Interesting Computer Tactics

I'm just wondering if anybody has ever seen the computer employ some peculiar or interesting tactic against you? I'm asking this since I seen Chelsea in one of my previous Arsenal saves use a 3-4-3 with Christopher Samba in a Striker role(?)!

That's because Samba has been used in a striker role several times
 
Samba's a tank. When Blackburn are pushing for an equaliser in the last 5 or so mins they usually put him up front.
 
True, him and Lukaku were pretty intimidating, but for the whole match? :O
 
Yeah City also did this in my save and they had Dzeko on the bench to.
 
i had something strange in my current stoke game, i got braga in my uefa cup group stage, they were playing 4-5-1 both times, i noticed they had italian 38 year old centre back in the AML position in the home game then when they came to play me at my ground he was AMR
 
Samba is a striker. okay so blackburn rovers wont relegate this season. yakubu + samba = ftw ;)
 
I think it was FM11 where Spurs were playing Peter Crouch as a CB. A regular one as well, they re-trained him too. England picked up on this too, so he became a CB in one save of mine.

I had this happen in FM11 as well.

I've seen some strange positional choices by teams, players out of position even though there were others in their starting line ups that were Competent or even Accomplished in that role :/
 
Computer managed Fiorentina did well in the champions league with a 3-5-2 formation in my save.
 
If they're playing Samba upfront is it any wonder Blackburn are doing so bad?

Anyway if you look on his profile and then positions he possibly has ST on there and that will mean the CPU will happily play him there if he's a better ST than the others that are available.
 
on fm 09 i think portsmouth were playing kanu centre half and i clearly remeber him having an absloute mare LOL
