Hi.
I woke up yesterday morning, and my saved game wouldn't load?
This is what happened:
1- I opened FM and I got this message twice: not well-formed (invalid token) at line 1 of default.xml (I attached a screenshot of this message).
2- FM starts up, and when I clicked on load last game, I got this message: The save game could not be loaded. (also attached)
3- FM suddenly shuts down, and when I try to re-open it, it says: Football Manager 2009 is already running. (also atached)
So I tried all kinds of stuff like restarting my pc, uninstalling and re-insalling FM09, I even tried to load the game on another pc and the same thing happened. Yeah and when I tried to start a new game, it worked fine and nothing wrong happened.

Please help!!!

this happenned to me too, try to load one of the rolling save files, you might need to play a few matches again but at least you can continue and maybe save your game at a point further on

if you are getting the third error dialog box open task manager(presume its called the same on vista) and look for fm.exe and kill the process
