Mansfield Town - Anti Haslam

Hello all! I will be doing this when I'm not playing my other save "Manchester City - It's All Lies"I've always wanted to do a FM and get Mansfield into the Premier League. I've never managed it on any Football Manager game, the closest to it is 8th in the Npower Championship so this will be a major challenge to me.

I wont be writing too much in this just updating you each month with screenshots and some comments! I want to get a game past 2020 which I've also never managed to do.

Why Anti-Haslam?

Haslam, (Keith Haslam) used to own Mansfield Town FC and still owns Field Mill, everyone who is a Mansfield fan will know the name Keith Haslam. I suggest you read it.

Keith Haslam is the majority shareholder (via a holding company called Stags Ltd) and CEO (and also ex-chairman) of Mansfield Town. Haslam amassed personal and inter-company loans of over £1,000,000 at their peak. It is understood that he still owes the club part of the value of his personal loan, and he refuses to consider the paying back of the inter-company loan as important to the football club.[2] On 26 April 2008 Haslam was attacked, he was punched and kicked by his own fans, he later required hospital treatment. Following an assault by one of his Mansfield Town fans Haslam announces that he will sell the football club but not the ground and he is currently holding the new owner to ransom.

The day Mansfield Town fell out of the football league

Keith Haslam, owner of League Two Mansfield Town, was assaulted when fans stormed his boardroom.
Chaos erupted after the Nottinghamshire club lost 1-0 to Rotherham on Saturday, meaning they are likely to drop out of the Football League to the Blue Square Premier.
During the game fans flew a "Haslam Out" banner and invaded the pitch at full-time.
Mr Haslam was treated in hospital for a minor head injury.
Chief executive Stephen Booth said: "We are all shocked. Keith is obviously very shaken by it."
A 45-year-old local man was later arrested.

A Mansfield Town story? Awesome!

I am from Kirkby-in-Ashfield, just outside Mansfield, and I 100% understand the hatred of that scumbag Keith Haslam.

Will be following!
