Big Sam Leaves Hammers

West ham have been rocked by the news that Sam Allardyce has resigned as manager due to family reasons. With the reason's Not bein known yet the hammers supporters must be wondering who will take the relms as there just 3 weeks away from the start of the Championship season.

McCarthy Takes over at West Ham

Mick McCarthy has become the new manager of West Ham, He has signed a 2 year contract and will start immediatly. His job will be 2 get the hammers back into the premiership at the 1st time of asking. With the squad already looking strong it is unsure if he will be given any money to strengthen the team further.

Our pre season went very well, we havent added to the squad currently, but a few young players have gone out on loan.

Substitute Cole saves hammers

The N Power Championship began yesterday as mick McCarthy's West Ham ran out 2-1 winners at home to hull, Goals from Ricardo Vaz Te and Substitute Carlton Cole gave them the points, after a shocking own goal from Rob Green threatened to spoil the party. Performances from two debutants also catched the Eye with Vaz Te's excellent volly and Henri Lansbury who pulled the strings in midfield with 2 Assists

West Ham Scrape through on pens!

West ham have progressed to the 2nd round of the league cup after a 4-2 penalty win over Plymouth at Upton Park, The home side who gave a debut to Revel Morrison were the better side but were unable to break through plymouth although Sam Baldock had a goal rulled out for offside, In the shootout Rob green made 2 great saves and it was left to Jack Collison to score the winner.

Super Cole settles heated affair

Carlton Cole was the hero for west ham with a Fantastic Hat-trick that settled a fiesty affair in the midlands that seen West ham's Winston Reid and Coventrys Nick Blakeman sent off, With both teams showing class coventry's great effort was shown with golas from blakeman and sub Alex Nimely but it was to be west hams game which leaves them 2 out of 2 in the league.

Hammers smash palace

West ham Ran out comfortable 4-0 winners over Crystal Palce at Upton Park. Jack Collison was the hero with a fantastic hat-trick and Carlton Cole continued his fine start to the season with another as the hammers put down a statement of intent with this commanding performance.

West ham leave it late to continue winning run.

A carlton Cole winner 5 minutes from time kept west ham's 100% start toi life in the championship as they won 2-1 against a hard working burnley side. West ham's in-form winger Jack Collison added to his scoring tally before being pegged back by former winger Junior Stanislas's goal. It could have been worse if Charlie Austin had scored from the penalty spot, but as the game went on it was Cole's header which gave west ham the points.

West ham have booked there place in the 3rd round of the Carling Cup with a 2-0 win over Bradford. a own goal and a late strike from substitute Freddie Sears helped west ham comfortably into the next round.

Pompey's Struggle continues

Portsmouth's struggle continued as they were beaten 2-0 by a in-form west ham side at fratton Park. A own Goal from Alex Pearce and a late Carlton Cole Goal propelled the hammers to 5 wins out of 5 and will finish August on top of the championship.

West Ham continued there fine run with a comfortable 3-1 win over Blackpool. Goals from Mark Noble, Nicky Maynard and Abdoulite Faye pounded on the misery, Before Roman Bednar grabbed a consilation and Hendry Thomas was sent off for a 2nd bookable offense.

West ham kept up the fantastic form with a 3-0 win at Bristol City. 1st half goals from James Tomkins and Nicky Maynard were followed by Henri Lansbury's early 2nd half strke to keep there 100% record alive with a very impressive performance.

Ipswich have progressed to the 3rd round of the Carling cup after a hard working victory over west ham at Portman Road. West ham led through Matty Taylor's first of the season before ipswich faught back with goals from Michael Chopra and former Hammer Lee Bowyer.

A under par hammers side kept up there good run with a 1-0 victory over Barnsley. Dispite struggling to break down barnsley for long periods it was Sam Baldock's 1st goal for the club which sealed the 3 points which stretches west ham's lead to 6 points in the Npower Championship.

Boro end 100% record

Middlesborough have ended west ham's 100% record in the Npower Championship with a 1-1 draw at the Riverside. Abdoulaye Faye's header was Cancelled out by a Marvin Emnes equaliser. West Ham will feel unlucky not to have won with substitute Sam Baldock hitting the bar late on as west ham pushed for a winner.

West ham have conceded there undefeated record in the Npower Championship as Struggling 10 man Doncaster beat them 4-2. For west ham it was a extremely poor performance that at times were embarrasing for there fans. James Coppinger Made a mockery out of George McCartney and even Habib Beye's red card didnt make any difference. With west ham's Concilation's coming through James tomkins and Winston Reid.

10 man west ham have returned to winning ways with a 2-1 win against southampton at upton Park. Again it was the 2 centre back's who scored, Winston reid and then James tomkins, who was later sent off sent the fans home happy and help's west ham move back to the top of the Npower Championship

Cool Collison does the Job for Hammers

West ham have opened up a 4 point gap at the top of the Npower Championship thanks to a 2-1 away win at leeds. Jack Collison scored twice to take his tally to 6 for the season, and although leeds pulled one back through adam layton they couldnt quiet recover from Michael Brown's Red card.

Milwall have won bragging rights after a 1-0 victory over a poor West ham united. Keogh scoring the only goal of the game as west ham struggled to find anything in front of goal, Apart from Maynards last minute header that hit the bar.

5 star hammers back with a bang.

West Ham returned to form with a 5-1 win over reading at Upton Park. Youngster Ravel Morrison got them on there way before the fit again Carlton Cole added a second before Mark Noble added a third before the break, Noble then got his second of the afternoon before Jason Roberts got a consilation. It was left to Abdoulaye Faye to finish the job with a late header.

Mick McCarthy has announced that West ham have signed a unamed player for 4 million pounds, The player who will join up with the West ham on the 1st of January will not be revealled Until then, Mick has However gave some details out, He say's that the lad is a african player and is aged 22, it is thought he currently plays in the Premier League.

West ham have again struggled to a 0-0 draw at home to Watford. Despite having the better of the Chances they couldnt break down a resiliant watford side who will be more than happy with there efforts.

Adel Taarabt has today revealed that he is the mystery man that will sign for West Ham on the 1st of January. The 22 year old who has the African Cup of Nations soon approaching say's he couldnt turn down the oppertunity to move to such a big club and has said he will provide the spark that West ham are currantly missing.

West ham made it 3 defeats on the trot with another embarrasing home performance to coventry. they went down 2-1 at upton park, with alot of the fan's starting to turn against the players and Manager Mick McCarthy, West ham will now end the year in 4th place, 10 points behind Birmingham City.

McCarthy Names new assistant.

Mick McCarthy has named 36yr old Nick Treadwell as his new Assistant Manager. He takes over from Tony Carr who has decided to drop down to help West Ham's youngsters.

West ham came from behind to clinch a 2-1 win over Ipswich in a Upton Park epic. After Michael Chopra gave ipswich a half time lead it was Simon *** who slid west ham level. As the game looked like it was gonna be a draw Adel Taarabt came up with the goods to send Upton Park crazy and keep west ham in 2nd place.

Derby beat west ham 2-0 to crush the away fans. The result leaves southampton as champions and birmingham 1 point ahed of the hammers going into the final day of the season.

West ham will be in the play-off's as results didnt go there win during a 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest. Ricardo Vaz Te and Kevin Nolan got the goals, which see them draw Nottingham forest in the play-off semi finals.
