im downloading a few leagues it was previously working but now theres a db file in the editor file when i delete it nd restart fm 12 the leagues wont work and file comes back any ideas

Unless you fancy troubleshooting by selecting and deselecting DB files until you find the one thats causing your game to not work, then a reinstall would be the best and quickest option, then just insert the DB's again.

reinstalled etc.. ill explain whats happening in more depth a add the mega pack leaugues j league and english division 9 do my editor data folder i then go into a game only to find nothing is saved so 0 in total i go to preferences too find theres another db file in the editor file but when its removed and i restart the game it comes back

Ahhh... i see.

When you start a new game and your choosing your Database , the should be a tickable box that says "Enable Database files" or something like that, make sure that is ticked. That's what enables the leagues. When you go into Preferences and the Data Folder your talking about is another one and i'm not sure whats in it. I used to do the exact same thing but i just figured out , just tick the box. on the new game screen.

Heres a screenshot

That right hand side of that screen it says "Change". Notice to the left how i have 57 database changes enabled? If i wanted to disable them i would tick "Change" , it's the other way around for you, so tick "Change" and it should enable it for you.

to elaborate on what seano said a little bit, if you have those changes on from the previous game you started and you want to start a new game without them then you need to go through the same process, making sure that box is ticked like on the screenshot, then on the next screen you will need to untick the files you don't want in that game.
