Now im a massive fan of Mr Hough's tactics and use them religiously and they work really well for me, but after watching Wigan play the last couple of months, have been curious whether there is a tactic available on here that is able to replicate there passing game at the moment.

The main reason im so interested in this is because of the way the formation is lining up it looks like 3-4-2-1 and have never used anything like this and dont know if it could be done, as it may be to risky playing just 3 at the back.

I've attempted to make a few tactics with this shape (a lot of teams use it in Italy: like Juve, Napoli and Udinese) it works well with bigger teams and less so with smaller teams. The game engine needs to be updated for it to work properly i think.

I'm going to have a play about with it, not sure whether to have the other 2 attackers playing as Amc's or Aml/r?
Going to model this on Mr houghs player instructions and see what happens using my Athletic Bilbao team!

I was looking for someone to post this. Needs someone to make the tactic!

Almost there with my Ultimate 4-3-3 for the final patch 12.2.2 :)

I will attempt to replicate a version of the one you are talking off too!!!!!

Unfortunatly, the current ME cant not handle formations with 3DCs in 3-x-x formations . The DCs stay too central when in possession and the fullbacks/Wingbacks etc fall down into fullback position when defending. This is something acknowledged by SI and à work in progress for future match engines.

Naturally, if tweaking all the sliders in a trial & error way, one could stumble upon à way, using another engine flaw to exploit resulting in the 2 flaws making up for each other but that would not really be replicating àn approach ;)

Thank you brobs, am also in testing for this but really cant work out how to use the Am's, when they played the other day it looks as though both of them were playing as amc's and ml/r were playing outside them. Have noticed though the midfield are absolutely knackered by 50th minute mark.

The main problem with my testing is the defence i cant get the middle cb to stay there for crosses etc he tends to get dragged to either side where the cross is coming from, therefore leaving a massive space!
