Is a too intensive training bad for the players, besides injuries? can it have the whole opposite effect?

OMFG... No intensive!!! It destroys a player in long term development. Don't be a short minded manager.

My training schedule is a secret, that I will never post ^^

But I already posted my tactic, and added the few keys of my succes (Valencia 1997-1999)

Look, when creating a training schedule for the positions you desire, never go light, high and intensive. Stay in Medium. And make sure your overal insn't higher or lower than heavy. Field players to go non keeping, GK to non shooting. Aerobic and Strengs, both set to mid medium standard overall (7 point batween extreem left medium and right, use nr. 4). Go right medium extreme for tactic and set pieces overall, your players will develop and intelligence style of play, combined to what you prefer of medium setting for the rest.

Hmmm, that is my succes. Remember, have one general schedule for all, with all medium extreem left, except aerobic, strength, tactic and set piece. Set those of what I wrote above. Use this schedule one week a month for all, it will keep your team's spirit of playing together to win matches alive.

intensive training is better....

it means your player is working to thier limits which mean they are more likely to get injured easier,People may disagree but i want my players to work hard

i gave carlos vela and really intensive and i mean intensive schedule and vela has becomes immense a few injuries but after a few he gets used to the schedule and hardly get injured anymore.

when i first gave him the schedule he was unhappy with how intensive it is but now he is 'Happy' with it now :)

like they say

Your not a 'World Clas Player' if you handle intensive training

you only work hard to become the best.
