Can anybody enlighten me on how this works when getting linked with other jobs?

I'm doing this challenge where I'm going from country to country winning a trophy in each one, and after I started in South Korea and eventually won the South Korean FA Cup with Chunnam, my rep went up quite a bit, Current, Home and World that is.

However, once I loaded up another country, Belarus, I struggled to get a job. This isn't actually unrealistic but the values I brought up in Genie Scout suggested I should be able to get a job in the Belarussian First League. My understanding was that when applying for a job in your home country (South Korea for me in this save) the game would compare your Home and World rep to the Club's reputation to see if they'd be interested in you, but applying for jobs outside your home country, such as Belarus, they'd look at Current and World rep. When I left Chunnam and applied for a handful of Belarussian First League jobs, my Current and World rep values were higher than the rep values of the teams I was applying to, but I didn't get the job until the 5th or 6th attempt. The question mark I'm raising here isn't the realism of a slightly successful South Korean manager struggling to nab a post in Belarus, its over the mechanics of the reputation in the game.

Now that I have taken Pinsk from Belarussian First League to promotion to the Highest League, and had a very good first 2/3rds to the season, I thought I'd be getting linked to more jobs. I'm coming to the end of my contract with Pinsk and when higher reputation clubs have those "Manager X could leave Dinamo Minsk" articles, I never get linked with the job, despite being one of the managers who's making hay in Belarus. Yet when I first joined Pinsk, before I removed the South Korean leagues from my database I was linked with several jobs back there.

Is this a case of my rep needing to be higher? At the moment my Current Rep (which I understood to be your standing in the country you are currently managing in) is higher than all but the top few clubs in Belarus, and my World Rep is a bit behind but still quite respectable. Does my World Rep have to grow higher to be linked with the better sides in Belarus? Is this a case of the game placing greater expectation on us wanting to manage in the country of our managers' nationality? Or do we just not know?

Some insight into this would be really useful, as if a top job becomes available I would like to be able to apply for it knowing I've got a good chance of getting it without the risk of being left empty handed if/when Pinsk don't take too kindly to me trying to jump ship.

Thanks in advance
