How important is doing pre match/tunnel/post match press conferences, they are getting very tedious, if i send assistant does it effect anything?

What does everyone prefer? Personally i find wingers 1000x more effective but IF are a bit more 'exciting'. At the moment im using inside forwards but on the verge of swapping to wingers as they are very inconsistent. Whats everyones experiences with the 2?

I started a save with monaco about 3 hours ago and done the usual, bidded for players, set my tactics and training blah blah. But for some reason, none of the clubs have replied to my bids, its been 2 weeks now (in game time) and they havn't repsonded with either accepting it or rejecting it...

is there a bug of some sort in this game with not being able to score penaltys? i've taken 22 penaltys so far on my current save and scored 1..... i have 5 penalty takers with 15+ penaltys so it isn't as if none of them can take them. ive lost so many points because of failing to score...
