Question about a network game?

Sorry, but I didn't think this really belonged in the network game thread area of the forum.

A bit of a noobs question, but if there are 2 people in a network game, and one is promoted while the other finishes mid-table, can the 2 players wtill continue the game as normal, just in different divisions? I assume so but not completely sure

Yeah of course, it'll just mean more stopping while one of you plays a match (lessened if you tick the box that makes all maches wed or sat), i.e. the championship has more games
