Spurs striker Robbie Keane joins MLS side LA Galaxy describing the transfer as a "dream come true".

As usual BBC behind FM Base.

OT though, I think it's a shame whats happened to Robbies career. He had some belter games, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching him play half the time, then suddenly BAM! His career took a nosedive (club level), and the way the transfer saga involving Liverpool evolved was nothing short of disgraceful-very shabbily done. Real shame. Wish him all the best though.

He was a top striker once. Good luck Robbie.

Wolves, Liverpool, Spurs and Celtic. Dont exaggerate, the truth is funny enough.

Nope, his Inter move was definitely a "dream come true" or something similar. The other ones I just assumed :)

He's overrated, in my opinion, but there's no doubt he has the talent there and was once excellent.

But now he's turned into a 'Gareth Barry' - signed on reputation, not current form/skill. I don't see why West Ham signed him, for so much (I think it was £1m for 6 months loan) and yet he failed to impress. I watched the Chelsea game, in which he had a few chances (one of them was easy) but he missed them all.

Good luck to him though, maybe the MLS will bring out the best of him.

P.S. You just have to look at his brilliant international goal ratio to see how good he can be.

Thought he still had something to offer in the premier league, suppose no one was willing to pay his wages here though. His goal scoring record at international and club level is pretty phenomenal though.

Sorry if I offended your talisman, Irishman.

He wasnt given starts at Liverpool and basically was asked to play as a supersub which doent suit him.
He didnt get games at Spurs.
At Celtic he did well.
And he was injured at West Ham.

The only team he has constantly played for since his move to Liverpool is Ireland, and he hasnt stopped preforming scoring against Russia, France and Italy.

I have no idea how the Galaxy are doing this. They already have three designated players. Maybe they're getting rid of Juan Pablo Angel (who has been a huge bust for them this season).

Edit: Juan Pablo Angel is going to Chivas USA, apparently.

Good move for the Galaxy as they desperately need a striker. It sucks seeing Beckham send in all of these crosses that no one can finish.

In that case, they should have signed Crouch!

I doubt that Crouch would sign for them. The only "big" players they seem to be able to sign are of the washed up variety (Keane, Beckham, Eghiou).
