Brazilian HG players!?

Hello there!

I have been wondering about something for some time, and i can't find an exact answer anywhere. Can a brazilian youngster, become homegrown in England? The rule about the first being transferred, when he is 18 years old, makes it quite confusing.

Can anyone help?

If his 18 birthday falls within transfer window, and he transfer straight away, then I think he'd be able to get homegrown for England, or even your club if you don't wanna loan him out. Cause it would be dead on 3 years.

Yes if their birthday is for e.g. 20th Yuly 2011 and you buy them before their birthday they'll be transfered to your club on that date and after 3 years you'll have a HG player.
