Can't get past certain date

I can't get past May 31st 2013 - when I click continue, or try and holiday past it, the 'processing' box comes up but then it freezes and I have to close FM with the task manager. Anyone know what's up?

I had that too, the only way to solve it was by resigning from my club, then getting past that date, then adding new manager. solved it.

i had this with a save in 2010, but got other games past that date so imo its a corrupt save maybe, but try the resign and take over again maybe?
