Daniel Sturridge, you confuse me....

So, on my third season with Spurs, Daniel Sturridge was released by Chelsea. I thought he'd make a nice addition to my squad. However he refuses to enter contract negotiations with me. With a Spurs side that are two-time title winners and playing in the Champion's League. Is there some hidden 'I hate this team' stat? Its all a bit weird.

He has Arsenal in his favoured clubs (for whatever reason) maybe that's why he doesnt want to join mate.

I guess that makes sense. That's some devotion there though. League champions come in when you've dumped on a free and he says "No no, what would my beloved Arsenal think." Oh well, off he goes to Derby for mediocrity then.

I'd rather play in the Blue Square North than for Sunderland. Putting on that shirt would be worse than the wage I'd get in a lower league
