A story about clubs in administration. The steps that are taken and the repercussions.

Diamond Finance Solutions
View attachment 342615

Before I start the story I just want to give everyone a bit of a heads up on what to expect in this story. It won't be a normal FM story you see. This is an FM story about a finance company that have been put in charge of clubs in debt. Essentially, you'll see big players being sold, staff redundancy, and other parts of the club being given up for funds. I am not a manager in this story. I am merely a spectator editing the finances as I go using FMRTE to keep in-line with the story. I hope you enjoy the story as much as I did making it. I've completely made up the company and robbed a few images of google to make it more easy on the eye. Please like and reply as much as you want as this will really urge me to keep it going. Cheers, Tez!

Breaking News

Sky Sources can reveal that Chelsea Football Club have filed for administration. The news comes after Roman Abramovich's net worth had been plummeting for the last few years as well as recent revelations of his corruption in Russia. Abramovich has announced that he will get the club back on track and takes full responsibility for the mess that has happened. Chelsea will now be taken over by a group of administrators who will look to sell off assets and recoup money needed to pay off Chelsea's debts. Roman himself is now borderline bankrupt.

DFS Plan Rumours

There have been a lot of rumours going around about what Diamond Finance Solutions have got in store for Chelsea Football Club. Going in to administration isn't good news for a club, especially when you're spending millions of pounds a week on wages. So far the rumours we've gathered together are;
- Player Mass Exodus
- 18 Players Face The Axe
- Mourinho Contemplates Resignation
- John Terry & Drogba Wage Cuts
- £200M Target For Player Sales

Premier League News; 9 Point Deduction & Fixtures Confirmed

Chelsea have been told they will be deducted 9 points for the forthcoming season after filing for administration. The premier league have also released their fixture list for the season. The first game for Chelsea sees them play away to Swansea City. They then have West Ham at home, Tottenham away, Sunderland and Crystal Palace at home, and then they see the end of the month away to Everton.

DFS Announce Confirms Strategy

DFS have released the strategy that they will use to get Chelsea finances under control and sort out the debt at the club. DFS are looking to sell at least 15 of Chelsea's most valuable players in an attempt to raise £200 million pounds. However they have reached an agreement with Jose Mourinho that they will be sold over a timeline rather than all at once to for the sake of the teams progress. The plan is to sell 6 players by the end of the summer transfer window. There will then be one player released on the 1st of every month until January when a further 3 or 4 players will then be sold on. After the January transfer window has passed DFS will then continue to release 1 player on the first of every month until May.

May will be the month that DFS get together and review the finances at Chelsea before deciding whether to hand the club back over or to renew their control for another season. With regards to the manager DFS can confirm that Jose Mourinho will not be resigning and will remain in charge of Chelsea with his 4 your contract deal in tact. DFS have also stated that this is a plan that they intend to stick to but if thy are forced to change it then they will not hesitate to.

Practically a perfect month for Chelsea. Three wins out of three in the league lifts them up in to the top half of the table and if it wasn't for the 9 point deduction they would actually be sitting top! Two solid Champions League performances also puts that campaign back on top. This month saw Chelsea eliminated from the Capital One cup were they featured a heavily rotated team.

Things are starting to look sour... Out of 4 premier league games Chelsea failed to win any and lost their first league game of the season after going 11 unbeaten. Despite this they are still going strong in the Champions League group stages and have now qualified for the knock out stages with one game remaining.

Player sales and squad trimming have finally taken its toll on the Chelsea team. The team only managed 6 points out of a possible 15 points this month. Interestingly their two wins came against strong opposition as opposed to their other results. Chelsea also drew their last Champions League group game thus confirming their top spot finish in the group.

Flirting with relegation? Chelsea are now only 7 points away from the relegation spots. Without the point deduction they'd be sitting in a champions league spot right now.

Any hopes of a finish in Europe are now long gone and Chelsea's main concern will be getting as far away from that relegation zone as possible. They are now using an extremely slim team and there are fears that they will struggle further towards the end of the season.

Player Releases
Diamond Finance Solutions have confirmed two transfer dealings for the January transfer window. John Obi Mikel and Gary Cahill have both had offers accepted for them bringing in a combined total of £12,000,000. Diamond Finance Solutions have also released a statement saying they have no plans of releasing any more players this window. The news must come as a relief to manager Jose Mourinho who has had to work with a team getting slimmer and slimmer as the weeks go by.

Really intrigued by this story mate, though it kills me to see all those players leaving on the cheap, especially as a Chelsea fan!

Not a bad month for Chelsea as they continue fighting for two cup competitions. Their only loss this month coming to a strong Man City side. Chelsea managed a good result in their first leg of the Champions League 1st knockout round getting the all important away goal vs Atletico and they have also now progress to the FA Cup Quarter-Finals.

Diamond Finance Solutions Statement
"We here at Diamond Finance Solutions are happy to announce that there will be no further player sales or releases this season. The decision comes as club finances have took a rocketing and the club is now in a much better position then it was before. We will now monitor the next couple of months before giving our final review to the banks on whether the club can be administrative free. We appreciate the work that Jose Mourinho has done at Chelsea and are very proud of what has been achieved over the past season given the circumstances."

Given what has happened this season Chelsea can be very proud of their final league position. Without the point deduction they would've actually finished in a Europa League spot. A brilliant achievement for Mourinho with the squad he has had to work with.
