The English Hero achievement was my goal in FM14 but I am stuck. Would like to hear from someone who has successfully completed the achievement and how it was accomplished. I am playing Eastleigh and I made a somewhat nice rise through the levels but I am stuck at the Championship level and have been for several years with no prospect for promotion. Finances. Very small squad and I have to sell my best players to balance the books every season. I have a very low limit of wages I can offer. My stadium seats 5250 and I do not even sell that out every match. Board says there is no money for a new stadium. My highest finish in the league is 10th. I just do not see a way to get over the hump. Have not had any luck in cups either. Have drawn Liverpool in the first match the last two FA Cups and I get knocked out of the league cup as soon as I face a Premier League team which is after a round or two. Any advice on how to advance?
