And it has to be said, the design for this FM Base team is awesome. Really nice colors and the crest is nice. Love the flashing of blue and green on goals.

Do you guys think I should sign Lee Bowyer? It's my 2nd season and we're in npower league 2 now and he wants 50k a week w/ a 2mil signing bonus.

I havent started this save but if I had the chance and the financial means to purchase Lee Bowyer I would take it no matter what team I was managing. I would probably do it for League 1 as well.

Well it's been only 2 games so far but he hasn't been chosen to start or even as a sub. He's 100% fitness but Tony Coton goes with Luccin and Barone instead.

Surely he's better than those guys.

Ah, he was chosen for the defensive midfielder position and then the next game, the offensive midfielder position. Seems like Coton is easing his way in.

And also what the ****, usually when I let it "auto", the system chooses a good penalty taker like Spinesi who has 18 and also good composure.

This game, they chose jordan spence who has a penalty stat of 10. It went in but still...

Anyone have an opinion on auto-opponent instructions?

I turned it on and am not getting the results.

Turned it off, won 2 games. Although goals are still lacking.

Wow, I thought we were off to a terrible start but I check the league table, and we're holding 1st with 26 points lol.

Wow, the stikers that were banging in goals twice a game in blue premier can't hit anything in npower 1. So lucky I made some new signings(for backup, i thought) or I'd be goalless.

So, no goals for Bowyer yet and he doesn't play regularly but he's managed to become my only player to ever get sent off.

anyways, my nvidia drivers stopped working and recovered but i lost 6 months of progress in season 2. i had already won the league and everything. ugh. saving more often now.

Had a great start to the season and then started losing and drawing games on the trot and conceding loads of goals.

I have my 18/18 scout--David Hamilton--set to "scout english reserves and today he comes up and is like, "hey look, I've found a 5-star potential 17 year old ENGLISH striker."

CHA-CHING

Picked him up for a measly $1.4M and am paying him $8k a week.

I went and got a scout report with my 20/20 AM and he too says 5 star potential ability and recommendation.

Cool name, too. Hopefully he develops into a world class player.

Just finished 2nd season, will upload soon. Looking forward to season 3. I managed to sign a kid back in 2010 and he can't leave brazil until 2013 so he's coming next january haha.

38 saves is a lot for 3 seasons I know, it's cause I had to study for midterms and had a hectic few days. I'll make up or it by going only 1 or 2 saves per season for 4 and 5.

I've decided to start over and this time--just for kicks--go with whatever the default position is and just assign the default coach to handle everything and just go through the game without changing anything at all. I'll only sign players that are recommended to me, all of them, without negotiating, and when I run out of money, I run out of money. I'll sign no additional coaches except for the ones recommended in the backroom advice and give only the recommended things there. No tutoring or custom strats or anything. Will be interesting to see where you end up in 10 years if you don't make a single unrecommended change.
