Look at the prize money now for winning the Cup.

This rises in relation to the league ranking. The same happens with any league prize money. Sadly the creator of the database didn't set any league prize money so we get nothing.

I've been tempted to add it in the editor and start again as I would be getting about ?7,000,000 for each league win and the lesser clubs would be getting other prize money for finishing in certain places thus helping them improve their own clubs.

I may restart this with the prize money added or start a new one altogether in San Marino or Gibraltar.

Thoughts?

Try Gibraltar, will be a real fun challenge.

Cheers for the comments. I think I'll go with Gibraltar as its less leagues games so will get seasons done quicker. Also I've done the San Marino leagues before so Gibraltar will be something new... Will start a new thread soon

Have you made an editor file so the national team can compete in the WC? I don't think they have FIFA membership by default.

I've also added a second manager to Sant Julia in get two teams performing well in Europe and therefore eventually boosting the coefficients. As it stands now I'm the only team winning any matches in Europe.

So at Sant Julia I aim to:
-- Improve training/youth facilities --
-- Challenge Casa Benfica domestically --
-- Qualify for Europa League --
-- Qualify for Champions League --

When I took over Sant Julia they had 50,000,000 in the bank yet the playing squad, stadium and training facilites are complete ****! Why doesn't the AI improve these over time when the finances are there??

Just reached the semi final of the Europa League with Sant Julia, the team managed by the second manager I added.

With Casa Benfica regularly reaching the first knockout round of the Champions League our UEFA coefficient should really kick on now. Getting an automatic spot in the CL is the ultimate aim now.

The above results were achieved with a tactic called The Pyramid which I had in my tactics folder but have no idea where I got it from.

Will use it with Casa Benfica next in the CL and see if it gets me any further. Can't get past the 1st knockout round.

As you can see we are making tremendous progress at club level, with two team into the Quarter Finals of the Champions League and Sant Julia even making it all the way to the semi finals.

The Andorran league is now the 9th best league in the Europe.

But the national team is still hit and miss. Our results are better (like finishing 3rd in the recent Euro Championships qualifying group) but still plenty of work to do.
