[Guide] How to Join/Create a Network Game

What You need:
Hamachi:
Code: 
https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/vpn.asp?lang=en
Football Manager
Same patch as hoster

Hosting:
Download Hamachi
Install Hamachi

Open Hamachi
View attachment 7201

Click the trianagle looking thing:
View attachment 7202

Click on create new network:
View attachment 7205

Then Write network name and pass (if you want one)
View attachment 7204

Now give the network name and pass to you friends
Create new game on FM and make sure you pick the correct DB that everyone has in you network game.

Now when game is done go to options>prefences:

Then network and click run as server, and enable:
View attachment 7207

now wait for people to join and your ready to go.

Joining:
Download Hamachi
Install Hamachi

Open Hamachi
View attachment 7201

Click the trianagle looking thing:
View attachment 7202

Click on join a network:
View attachment 7253

Open FM

Click on network and make sure you choose the update/patch the hoster is in:

Now click on Join other Server:
View attachment 7255

Now copy and paste your hosters HAMACHI IP in to the network box:
View attachment 7256

Now your ready to play

ok bit confussed erm i have used hamachi to start network for me and my mate, gave him server but will it be the number on hamachi (e.g. 12345.12345) or the name on hamachi? (e.g. soccer)

it will be the number at top of ur hamachi
 
I've got the same problem, my host is using the FM 2010. I downloaded it and then I copied his Hamachi Address, but when I put it in it always says "Unable to connect to the server". I'm confused can someone help :S
 
Are one of you "running as server" in the network section of preferences? This should be your mate if you're trying to join him, and vice versa if him to you
 
If you want a gd net game join mine already 11 ppl in it

Right im unable to connect !

I've pressed join game
and it says unable to connect
but i played with my two mates yesterday and it worked but not today !
Anyone know why .
And when i got in after entering the password i clicked my name on non connected and it wouldnt work
but underneath was me as unemployed
and my original team as not connected

Someone help me please
