How do I see the total number of players in my save?

Hey guys, I would really appreciate if anyone could let me know how I can see the total number of players in my current save... I just read about a problem which gives you a very high number of players if you add a league(s) after you have already started your save.

I want to check the number of players I have so I know if I need to start over or not... Thanks!!!

You can check with Genie Scout i believe
