How to "read" the opponents?

I have read alot around on this forum, and everyone is talking about finding the weakness in ur opponents tactics etc...But I think this is difficult.. What kind of things should I look for, and how can I know how to exploit this??

Well, maybe im just looking for more specific advices....

Is they use an attacking midfielder play a def midfielder or anchorman, (don't always work but can help)

Check out who there top scorer is have him tight man marked. Same goes with there star players. Hard tackling also helps.

Make sure you have a scout with high tactics ability and listen to what he says the info is valuable.

i would just say try to get a settled team and tactic and use the touchline shouts (eg use retain possession and pass to feet if you have less of the ball than your opponent)
