Started unemployed and went on holiday for the first season so I could pick one of the relegated teams in 2015. I have chosen to go with Hull.

I'm thinking of using a 4-4-2 for the Championship, has anybody had any particular success with certain roles for the players in a 4-4-2 for the Championship?

I used a 4-4-1-1 with Leeds and it worked like a charm in the Championship, Hull should have the players to do that still. Can't remember my instructions but my roles went like this:

GK (D)
FB (Auto) - CB (D) - CB (D) - FB (Auto)
W( A) - CM (Auto) - RPM (S) - W( A)
AP ( A)
P ( A)

In Bigger games I changed the RPM to DLP (D), sometimes even a BWM (D) depending on who was fit. I tried using a Target man up front because a lot of the strikers in the championship are big blokes but I just haven't been able to get target men to work on this year's game for some reason, Poacher seems to do mostly what target men did last year tbh. Shame really because Alberto Cerri was basically god on last year's game as a target man
