They both scored the same amount of goals last season, 53. I don't see why there is a difference!

Aside from that SI seems to have *** all over Messi.
 
Messi shot/goal ratio was better than Ronaldo's.

And there's a <5 PA difference between them IIRC so they're hardly '*******' all over Messi, either.
 
Well Huntelaar has higher than Messi....

As said before, it's worked out by ratios. I'm pretty sure Ronaldo has higher long shots and heading attributes, so it works out in fairness.
 
The finishing stat is not the only one which determines how good they are at goal scoring.

well last season messi needed 3,5 shots to score, ronaldo almost 5
thats probably why
 
i seriously dont understand how people hate on messi have you not seen him play. he hardly ever misses in front of goal and can destroy a whole defence by himself. enough said
 
I am not a "fanboy". Nor did I know that finishing was not the only stat in determining the chance of scoring a goal.

I just pointed out the scored the same amount of goals last season, I didn't know any external factors which would influence their scoring stat in FM. You'd think since they scored the same their stat would be the same, but obviously not.
