Hi im in my 1st season and just wondered who i should sell/buy etc and what formation is best for Pool Should i make Gerrard playmaker or Alonso?

I am in first season to, this is what i did.
Sell pennant, offer him to clubs. get bout 9 mill for him
Sell benayoun, get bout 6 mill for him
sell kuyt, get bout 10 mill for him
Sell itandje, get 2 mill for him

sell them players to boost your funds.

You still have pretty good squad with seling them, invest in a good right winger.
maybe another forward. and goog wing backs.

As soon as you get on the game change expectations to winner. Then ask the owners for more money. They will accept and give you around another 10 million. You will then have 15 million. Then yeah sell those players. Not sure about Kuyt as he's your only AMR but the rest of them oh and Dossena for 5-6 million and then put Insua into your first team. You have about 45 million. Then i'd advise that you bought a RB, AMR, ST. Buy a quality RB I bought Srna for 15 million. I bought Diego from Werder Bremen and retrained him to play AMR as-well as AMC for about 15 -20 million. Then you just need a backup striker for Torres, I got Lavezzi, he isn't a ST but he can play there for about 4 million.
