Noob in need of huge help

Hi Guys

I'm having difficulty with what tatics to use, formations and player roles, can someone pls explain to me what determines what tatics u use and why u give that player a certain role and not the other. I'm very new to FM and don't understand alot

Player Roles are what kind of style of play, or how you want a player to play, in the position you put him in. There are different roles for each position, and each player will be more suited to a certain role than another player. You can see how good a player will be for that role, by the highlighted stats which are shown.

What team are you using? Maybe we can help you out with some tactics and players..

Im using Weston super mare

Semi-pro teams are a very hard way to start in the football manger franchise.

I would go for a midtable team in the 1o division.

In case you keep with Weston super mare, i suggest you to adopt a very rigid formation, with little or 0 roamin, counter-attacking, flat 442.

About the roles, choose the most basic for limited players.
