Ok, whats with the shots on target thing?

Has anyone else noticed this? I am playing as West Ham, so I am dominating most games in the Championship. However, whenever the stats come up at the end, its always something like this:

Shots : 26, 22, 24, 20, 25
On target: 7, 6, 7, 7, 6, 7

The shots on target NEVER seem to go above 7 shots no matter how many shots I have in the game!!! Not a big deal cause im doing well in the league, just one of them things that annoy and takes something away from the game!! I can provide screenshots!

I know how you feel. Its rather annoying. Im playing as Dover at the moment, but I just cant seem to hit the target. I have a match earlier, 31 shots, 0 on target! >.> I dont know how to help them hit the target either
