Player eligible for two nation

Hi, I wonder if you can make the player "choose" a nation to play for? Like Koray Günter who's Tyrkish and German. Can you like somehow make him to chose Germany instead of Turkey?

Yes, but you'll have to be the German manager, and then let him play a international match! Then he will only be elegible for germany

So I can't do anything if I'm just managing a club? Like advising him to chose Germany because they're a better team etc.
