what I want my team to do is like pep guardiolas style, when a player has the ball 2/3 players to put pressure on him forcing him to make a mistake.
I use these instuctions which I think would help:
hassle opponents- obvious reasons
push higher up- box there players into there own defensive half
higher tempo?- not sure if it makes a difference but think it could make my players work to get the ball back faster
however despite this my players rarely close down the opposition and if they do it will be one at a time. my strikers and wingers don't close down the defence/goalkeeper to force them into making a mistake they just allow them to have the ball comfortably.
