A mysterious figure, known to us only as, Th3 King, has taken the thrown as new manager of Stockport County.
In quite sudden events, Chairman Jason Reynolds has sacked current manager Alan Lord, due to a locker room scuffle with left two players have suffering black eyes and Lord with a possible broken hand.

Th3 King he we believe to be unknown in footballing circles has kept his identity hidden, even to the Stockport Board. 'Mr. King has brought forward his ideas, and he has our full backing' said Director Richard Park as he was interviewed outside Edgeley Park earlier today. He also stated 'Mr King believes he has a way of revolutionising Stockport County Football Club and making us the power we once and were, and to be honest what do we have to lose?' Stockport have dropped from the second tier to the sixth tier of English football in eleven years, the only team to ever have done so.

What makes this appointment so surprising though, is the fact that the board, nor anyone has ever met this man in person. He has reportedly been learning and developing his football knowledge with Managers all over the world, from Australia to Finland.

The question is will this be enough to satisfy the fans and will Stockport ever meet their new man in change?

CLUB INFORMATION

View attachment 722414

Stockport County F.C. is an English football club based in Stockport, Greater Manchester. Stockport were formed in 1883 as Heaton Norris Rovers, and adopted their current name in 1890 after the creation of the County Borough of Stockport.

They have played at Edgeley Park, which they have called home since 1902, and have traditionally worn blue and white. Stockport are nicknamed The Hatters after the town’s former hatmaking industry.

WHO AM I?
View attachment 321810

So I am formally known as Th3 King, I’m a mysterious figure no one in the football world knows anything about. No one has seen my face, and I plan to keep it that way.

FACILITIES

View attachment 321809
Edgeley Park is a dream stadium for a team looking to storm up the English tiers. With a capacity of 10,500, it gives the board reason to put money toward training and youth facilities as well as the senior squad rather than the stadium.

The facilities to be honest are already at a fairly decent level. With three star training facilities, it means that players will be more prone to develop better than most teams in the Vanarama Conference North.

ANALYISING THE SQUAD

Overall I think that with some extra depth and maybe a new starting midfielder we have the quality to at least make the playoffs and maybe even win the league. Our better players are spread all over the pitch with guys like Jamie Milligan and Scott Spencer playing through midfield and up front as well as Glenn Belezika in the centre of defence.

I believe players like Glenn Belezika, Scott Duxbury and Danny Murray all have potential to push through the leagues and grow with the club.

Many of these players are expendable, no one is bigger than the club, and no one have the class to be a ‘must keep’ so any chance to bring in funds, I will always pull the trigger.

KEY PLAYERSView attachment 321804Jamie Mulligan
Quite a decent player who is quite well rounded. He's on the wrong side of 30, so his physicals are decreasing day by day. I think I'll probably only get a season maybe two out of him before he's not good enough or retires.

View attachment 321803Scott Spencer
Going by my assistant, Marcelino, he's the teams best player which I tend to agree with. He's very quick for this standard of football, and with many of the defenders old and very slow, hopefully he'll wreak havoc in the final third for us. The only things that let him down are his finishing and composure, but fingers crossed he'll be banging them in for us.

View attachment 321801
Glenn Belezika
One of these players I believe can grow and improve as the club climes the ladder of English football. With great tackling and speed which is very handy when in the lower leagues, I believe he'll be the rock at the back that Stockport County need.

FIRST XI

I’ll be starting with a narrow 4-4-2 Diamond. I’m not really sure whether I’ll stick with it in the long run, but it seems to be the easiest formation to get my best and most capable players on the pitch. Ill be experimenting with different formations and mentalities to find which will suit us best for the upcoming season.

I love the idea and the the layout mate!
It's very easy and fast to read, so keep up the good work!

So you want to push for promotion in the first season?

Definitely looking to get promotion, the quicker we can get to the football league the better we'll be off. Although I'm not so sure if I have the luck on my side.

Enjoying this!

Great to hear, I'm loving it at the moment as well.

SEASON ONE: PRESEASON

View attachment 321504
Now that Th3 King’s journey has officially started, we’ll look back and analyse our preseason results. Player’s fitness levels and learning the tactic were the most important factors of preseason, but the results were surprising nice.

View attachment 319073
View attachment 321507
Not too many signings to talk about to be honest. I really only picked up Nathan Blissett from Kiddminster who will start up front as the only starting XI player. The rest were many squad rotation and added depth.

The players going out were just not good enough to impact the team, and the best thing to do was to let them go and gain a bit more money to spend on the wage bill.

Nathan Blissett is a monster up top who will hopefully partner Scott Spencer to make combination of speed and strength. With great strength and high jumping reach he’ll hopefully be able to not only nod in goals, but assist Scott Spencer as well.

Overall I was fairly happy with the results, players seemed to gel really well together producing many chances over preseason. The only downside was obviously the West Ham game. They just outclassed us. Their team was littered with many potential premier league players, so I just happy to score a goal against them, although two of their goals were from our players, which was again disappointing. I’m looking to use our passing skills with the formation, and players really looked to be playing good football when we were controlling possession.

Player quite well in limited chances he played, most of the time he was the only being subbed at half time to give some the other players match time. When he did play for than a half he scored a hat-trick, can’t ask for any more really.

Apart from the West Ham Under 21's it was a great Pre-Season and hopefully a sign of things to come!

Nice to see someone trying to do something with Stockport. Got my Stockport promoted to the Conference League by winning the North. Wasn't too hard, either. Best of luck mate, look forward to more.

SEASON ONE: AUGUST

View attachment 320861
After a more than encouraging preseason with many of the boys impressing, I wanted to really hit the ground running and start well in the league. I good start in the league is crucial, if we’re up there from the start, it means the confidence is there to go all the way and win the league.
What didn’t help though was early injuries. Injuries to key players are hard as it is, but when it’s before the season has started it’s even worse.

View attachment 320860

View attachment 319069
Now due to these injuries, as well as lack of depth I had to bring in another defender. Adam Bower, a Huddersfield youth project who was at Sheffield in the Northern Premier was the perfect option. A young central defender with solid defensive stats as well as some decent physicals. Can’t really complain with what he brings to the table.

View attachment 320859

View attachment 319065
After this month I can honestly say I’m relieved/grateful for how it unfolded. After winning the first three games, I thought that we were on a good run but we’ve just been decimated by the busy lower league schedule. I have players starting games with conditions lower than 75%. Now to me, that just insane and something that can’t be happening, I really need to pick up my game when it comes to managing this squad.

What a great start for this kid. Another of these high potential guys I believe can improve with the club. If he keeps working hard at training and doing his job on the pitch, he should secure himself a new contract.

SEASON ONE: SEPTEMBER

View attachment 320553
After a really promising start to the season going unbeaten all through August, we really needed to keep the run going and put pressure on the teams around us. Key fixtures are coming up and we need to make sure we put in good shifts to get three points in most of the games this month.
This didn't really help our cause, Captain and one our most crucial players injured, just our luck.

View attachment 320544

View attachment 319061
Another amazing month for the boys from Edgeley Park. We had some key matches this month that included Hednesford Away, and Solihull Moors Away. I couldn’t have asked for better results. Everyone seems to be gelling really well and players are getting confidence in how Th3 King likes to play football.
Also moved another round into the FA CUP, where we played a weak Stafford team. They never really stood a chance with us dominating every aspect of the game.

The man we brought in on loan from Kidderminster has been in dominating form. 7 goals in 5 games is an outstanding effort and to also chip in with two assists, it just shows how well he’s playing. I’d love to see him keep this form going especially going into the New Year. The more points on the board early, the more pressure is on the other teams.

Nathan Blissett, an out of favour striker who was barely used as a rotation player at Vanarama Conference side, Kidderminster, a year ago is now leading the line for a Stockport County side oozing with talent and confidence. Blissett who now has 6 goals in 8 league appearances is really starting to hit his straps almost a quarter through the season.

Nathan, not very long ago you were unwanted at Kidderminster, what’s changed in this short period of time?
To me it’s all about feeling relaxed and knowing the gaffer have confidence in me. I didn’t really have that confidence in Kidderminster, they didn’t really rate me. I’m having a wonderful time here at Stockport and I think that’s translating into my game.

So you mentioned the gaffer, what’s it like having never met the man in charge here at Stockport?
Yes, well I can say it’s definitely different. Although we’ve never met, I feel like he’s here with us. Like in spirit if that makes sense. Most players talked to him regularly, so it’s not like we aren’t in contact. We all have his number, so he’s only a phone call away.

Are trainings different? Without anyone really in charge?
No, Marcelino the Assistant manager really takes control at training, and I think it’s really beneficial for us. He specialises in training so I mean, all his concentration goes into making us better.

So overall, do you see this becoming a regular thing in football clubs? Is Th3 King revolutionising modern day football?
I don’t really see it any different now to when the manager is around. The club runs just as smoothly. He’s doing it for certain reasons, he’s not keeping his identity hidden just because he wants to, it’s because he has to. He knows a lot about football, and he doesn’t want to get caught up with the publicity that comes with professional football.

View attachment 320099
So I've officially opened my managerial awards account, winning the Manager of the Month in September after being robbed in August.

It wasn't really a surprise, you should have already penciled me in to win the Manager of the Year.

SEASON ONE: OCTOBER & NOVEMBER

View attachment 319049
So after talks with Kidderminster over their tank sticker, Nathan Blissett, we put in a bid of $0 which they accepted. I’m not really sure what’s going through their manager’s head, but while they’re struggling to score in the conference premier, I have their striker banging in goals.
Unfortunately he wouldn’t even talk to us.

View attachment 319046

Later on I was having a glance at the free agents, and saw the name, Henoc Mukendi, which I quickly recognised. Ex-Liverpool youth player was without a club, and with decent potential and already a good player at this level I had to bring him in.

So after a great start to October with a win over an inform Gloucester, we fell to Oxford City for our first loss of the season. So after eleven league matches we had finally lost, but to be honest if someone would have offered me an eleven game unbeaten run to start the season, I’d have bitten off their hand. We then went on another run of good results through the rest of October and into November.

Like everyone else I am really impressed by your layout, good work on that! Looks like you are also a very good manager as your results are quite impressive, one question though if you never show your face then who manages your team on match day? :p

Yeah, he's a fairly well rounded striker, but at the moment Nathan Blissett is beating him for the spot of target man. Hopefully if all goes well he'll be starting for us next year.

Mr Marcelino, my assistant and long time friend managers the team on game days. He's basically my pidgeon, relaying messages.
