Stupid question

I've just downloaded some files for the English Premier League club crests and some player faces.

I know I need to extract the rar files but I have no idea how to, basically if anyone can give me a basic step-by-step way of adding these to my game I would be very grateful.

+ will it work on saved games?

you need a program called WINRAR to extract them

then you extract to documents/sports interactive/football manager 2012/graphics (if graphics folder isnt there then create it)

and yes it will work in saved games. when on FM12 go to preferences, then display and sound, then untick 'use skin cache' and tick 'always reload skin on confirm'

Yes basically what Harriers said - although I prefer 7zip to Winrar as it is open source and not shareware.
