Founded in 1926. Fiorentina are a professional Italian club currently playing in the Serie A. The Clubs plays their home games a Stadio Artemio Franchi and possess good training facilities and a good youth setup. The club also possess a youth academy and an established youth recruitment network. The club is know as Viola and retains a fierce rivalry with Pisa, Juventus and AS Roma.
Enjoying their greatest spell of success during the 1960s,Viola have a history to be proud of. Boasting a total of fifteen competition wins, here are just some of their highlights: Fiorentina finished runners-up in the Champions Cup in 1957, won the Italian top division in 1956 and 1969 and finished runners-up on five occasions, won the Cup Winners Cup in 1961 and finished runners-up once, and finished runners-up in the EURO Cup in 1990
